So if you’re looking for a mid sized soundbar for a medium sized living room that’s going to deliver a very big bang for your buck… then I feel that both the Sony Theater Bar 6 and JBL Bar 500 Mark 2 are good options to consider. So this is the JBL Bar 500 Mark 2, and for the most part, JBL’s soundbars are a solid option that will work well with all TV’s. JBL’s soundbars also usually have an HDMI in port which is usually reserved for more premium home theater systems now. And having an HDMI in port on your soundbar can be very useful if you have multiple game consoles and or a Blu-ray player or something else… so this way you can be a little more efficient with your HDMI ports. Nonetheless, today we’re going to checkout the JBL Bar 500 Mark 2 and lets see if its right for you.

Cause right now if you want upwards firing drivers, for the most part you’ll have to go with something more premium.
