The Bose Smart Soundbar is my favorite soundbar to recommend if you’re looking for a sound bar for a small or medium sized living room, and its a great option if you’re looking for something for your bed room cause it sounds good and its super compact and it doesn’t need an external subwoofer. However, for me it is very hard to justify building out the Bose Smart Soundbar with an external subwoofer and surround sound speakers cause bose gets very pricy very quickly.
So this is the Sony Theater system 6 and this is the Sony Theater Bar 6. And even though these two systems have very similar names… they are very different from one another. Speaker set up wise and especially connectivity wise. Now both of these systems are going to work well with any tv out there and they are a great value… but for a slightly better experience you do want to use them with a Sony tv. Nonetheless today we’re going to compare these two systems to one another and lets see which one is right for you.
So this is the Sony Theater System 6, not to be confused with the Sony Theater Bar 6, which doesn’t come included with rear satellite speakers and it has a smaller subwoofer. Now the Sony Theater System 6 is a good system to consider if you’re looking for something that comes included with both rear speakers and an external subwoofer… but there are some very big connectivity details that you need to know about this system.
