So over the last few months, JBL has been very busy updating a lot of their speakers… but most recently they put out the JBL Grip which is a completely new line of speakers for them… but its actually very similar to the JBL Flip 5. But still I think the JBL Grip is very weird in JBL’s current speaker line up. Nonetheless today we’re going to compare the JBL Grip to both the JBL Flip 7 and JBL Charge 6 and lets see which one is right for you.
So over the last few months, JBL has released some very impressive products. The JBL Charge 6, JBL Flip 7, JBL Partybox 520, JBL Partybox 720 and JBL Boombox 4 are all impressive in their own rights… but then there’s the JBL Grip… I have no idea who this is for or who asked for this. So lets see what the JBL Grip is about.
So the JBL Boombox 4 is a very impressive speaker that gets super loud and it has a lot of bass for its size. However, the JBL Boombox 4 can be a little pricy, So today we’re going to compare the JBL Boombox 4 with its little bother, the JBL Xtreme 4, and the Sony ULT field 5. Lets see if its worth it for you to upgrade to the JBL Boombox 4, or if these smaller speakers will get the job done just right for you.
One of the biggest upgrades on the JBL Boombox 4 is that it gets impressively loud and it has a lot of bass for its size. Honestly, the max volume performance on the JBL Boombox 4 is up there with the max volume of either the JBL Partybox 120 and JBL Partybox Encore 2. But the bass is a different story. Nonetheless today we’re going to compare the JBL Boombox 4 to both the JBL Partybox 120 and JBL Partybox Encore 2 and lets see which one is right for you cause these speakers are very different from one another.
So for the last few years, the Sony ULT Field 7 has been a sleeper hit, this speaker has better instrument separation and better bass than the JBL Boombox 3, plus you can use it with a mic for karaoke and it even has a built in light feature, but we don't talk about that. But a lot of people just looked over it. But today we’re going to see how the JBL Boombox 4 compares to the Sony ULT field 7… Is JBL back on top? Or are you still sleeping on the Sony ULT field 7?

But what is very impressive about the JBL Boombox 4 is its max volume performance and bass… its up there with the JBL PartyBox 120, which is very shocking. It gives you more then enough power where you never ask for more… but you never get overwhelmed and feel like you made a mistake. But then theres the JBL Partybox 720 which basically says, Oh you think the 520 is crazy, check this one out… Now the 720 can be a little over whelming… but its still as versatile as the Partybox 520. But today, we’re going to compare the JBL party box 720 something a little bigger, the Sony ULT Tower 10 which might give you a little bit more bang for your buck.
