So these are the TOZO Golden X1 wireless earbuds, they’re a pair of affordable earbuds that give some much more premium earbuds a real run for their money. Now first off these earbuds sound great cause they sound very balanced… but more importantly these are a great option for bass heads cause they have a lot of bass. They also have good performing Active Noise Cancelation which is going to be super useful for your bus ride commute and they have have a solid combined battery life of 32 hours. So today lets checkout the TOZO Golden X1 earbuds and lets see what these are all about.

Now one of the biggest things about the TOZO Golden X1 earbuds is their sound. The Golden X1 earbuds have a dual driver set up, which is fairly rare for a pair of earbuds in this price range. Each earbud has a 12 millimeter dynamic driver and a Knowles Balanced amateur driver… so this really going to help with overall instrument separation, and its going to help your earbuds sound more open and give you better detail in the mids and highs cause one driver handles the mids and the other driver handles the highs. And this is very similar to what you would find on a larger speaker that has a Woofer and a tweeter set up. And this dual driver set up is what helps these earbuds have a Super-Wide Frequency Response of 12Hz to 44.1kHz
Now when it comes to the actually listening to music with these earbuds… the Golden X1 sound very balanced and open. Vocals are very strong, but the instrumentals also have a lot of detail to them cause the highs are able to stand out from the mids. But then there’s the bass on these earbuds, it comes in very hard when it has to and it has good resonance, but more importantly it doesn’t muddle the rest of your music when the bass really gets going. Now I think these earbuds sound great with their stock TOZO Eq, but if you want you can also go into their app and you can either make your own EQ or you can choose from a few pre made EQ’s. So if you’re someone that like a more neutral sound signature, or if you like a brighter sound signature… maybe you really want to put the Knowles Driver to work, you can do that. Or if you like a lot of bass in your music, you can also do that.
Now when it comes to audio codecs, these earbuds have support for SBC, AAC and LDAC which is Sony’s high res audio codec which is going to give you better detail in you music cause LDAC transmits 3 times as much data. But in order to use LDAC you do have to be an android user cause iPhone’s top out at AAC. But regardless, these earbuds sound great whether you’re using LDAC or AAC. And each earbud establishes a connection with your phone, so if you just want to use one earbud at a time, you can use either one, it doesn’t matter, and this is the type of connection set up that we expect to see on all of our earbuds nowadays.
And to control your music, these earbuds are using touch pads, so you can tap to skip through your music, and through TOZO’s app you can also go in and customize these buttons, so you can control your music and adjust your volume straight from the earbuds themselves.
Now when it comes to the earbuds themselves, these are a pair of shallow fitting in ear earbuds. As in they dont go in super deep into your ear canals like a standard pair of in ear earbuds, so these earbuds dont feel as intrusive as a standard pair of in ear earbuds… but since they do go into your ear canals a little bit, they do offer you a good amount of lock down and they also do a good job of passively blocking out noise pollution. Plus these earbuds also come included with a a total of 6 silicon ear tips, which is a lot, but more importantly its going to make finding your fit a lot better. But overall, the Golden X1 earbuds are a pair of good fitting earbuds, and they have a decent amount of lock down, so they are a good option if you’re looking for something to work out with, plus they also have an IPX6 rating, so sweat is not going to be an issue for these earbuds.
And when it comes to battery life, these earbuds have an advertised combined battery life of 32 hours with their Active noise cancelation turned off, which is a decent battery life given the size of this case. The earbuds themselves can go for 8 straight hours, which is really good stamina, and the case can supply 3 additional charges. And with their ANC turned on, these earbuds have an advertised combined battery life of 20 hours. The earbuds themselves can go for 5 hours, plus those 3 charges from the case.
And overall, I like this case, for starters this case does have a built in display just like with a lot of other TOZO earbuds, so you can quickly and easily see how much battery you have on your earbuds, directly on the case it self. But also this case is decently small so its a good option for every day carry earbuds cause this case isn’t super noticeable when its in your pocket… and to charge this case, it charges via a USB C port and it also has wireless charging.
And then there’s the active noise cancelation on these earbuds, the ANC on the Golden X1’s does a really good job of blocking out lower frequency sounds like road noise and they also do a decent job of blocking out higher frequency sounds like chatter, and overall these earbuds are going to be a great option for your bus ride commute or if you’re in a chatty office. And also the Golden X1’s have an ambient mode that sounds fairly natural and their microphone arrays does a good job of blocking out wind noise when walking out doors.
So with all of that being said, the TOZO Golden X1 earbuds are very well rounded, they have a good sounding microphone on them to take phone calls with, they have a decent battery life and their case is decently small for every day carry, they have good performing active noise cancellation and they offer you a really good fit as well. But what really makes the TOZO Golden X1 stand out here is their sound. Thanks to their dual driver set up, these earbuds give you really good clarity and balance cause their main 12 millimeter driver focuses on the bass and mids and their Knowles Balanced amateur driver is going to focus on the higher frequency sounds. And as a result these earbuds are going to give you really good details in the mids and highs but they are also going to give you lot of bass, without interfering with the rest of your music. The TOZO Golden X1 earbuds are well rounded, but they are especially a great option for someone looking for earbuds with great sound quality at a fair price.
