The new JBL Partybox Encore essential 2 is actually a pretty solid small box speaker now thanks to its upgraded battery life and it gets impressively loud and has a lot of bass for its size. But today we’re going to see how it compares to the JBL Partybox 120 and some other small box speakers like the Sony XV500 and the Soundcore Rave 3S which is an amazing box speaker for karaoke.
The Soundcore Rave 3S is a very imrepssive mid sized box speaker cause it sounds good, and it looks good… but its also an amazing option to consider for karaoke cause it comes included with two wireless microphones, but more importantly, it has this really cool AI vocal removal tool so you can remove the vocals from any song you’re playing, and it does all of this locally from the device. But today we’re going to see how the Soundcore Rave 3S compares to both the JBL Partybox 120 and the Sony XV500.
So this is the Bose S1 Pro, and this is a speaker thats better left to the professionals than plan on using their speaker with a microphone, some type of instrument, or a mixer on a regular basis… probably for work. But if you’re a causal user looking for a small box speaker than you’re probably going to be better off with either the JBL Partybox 120 of the Sony XV500. And even if you’re a pro, maybe you’ll might like either of these two options better than the Bose. So the new Sony XV500 is a refined version of the Sony XP500 that has a more balanced sound and it also looks sleeker. And if you’re looking for a portable box speaker, then the XV500 is a good option. However, we also have the Sony XG500 which is more portable and more durable, but when it some to sound, these speakers are very different. None the less today we’re going to compare these two speakers and see which one is right for you.
So for the lest few months Sony has been updating their box speakers with their new XV family of speakers. And for the most part these speakers are refined and they have a more balanced sound signature to them. But today we’re going to compare the Sony XV800 to the Sony XV500, and mainly this is going to come down to sound performance and portability.
