So right now, Bose is kind of in a low where they aren’t innovating too much, but some of their products are still really good like lets say their mid sized smart sound bar… but their speakers are very underwhelming when compared to the rest of the competition like the Bose Soundlink Max or the Flex 2 or the Micro 2. But still, Bose’s headphones are perhaps some of the best headphones to travel with cause they’re super comfortable. So today we’re going to compare the new Bose QC Ultra Headphones 2 to the Bose QC Headphones which are one of my favorite headphones to travel with, and they’re also one of my favorite pair of headphones to recommend for non tech savvy people.

Just like the Sony 1000XM5’s, the Sony 1000XM6’s are perhaps that best ANC Headphones to fly with cause they block out the most amount of noise, and thanks to their built in atmospheric pressure sensors, they should be able to block out the most amount of noise while at cruising altitude. And thankfully, Sony changed the hardware on the 1000XM6’s so they’re a little more comfortable than the 1000XM5’s and they have a smaller case again, making them better for traveling. But today we are going to compare the Sony 1000XM6’s to both the Bose QC Ultra and the Bose QC headphones. Now no, Bose’s headphones dont have as many bells and whistles as Sony’s headphones, and they dont perform as well as Sony’s headphones… but Bose’s headphones have always stood out because of their super comfortable fit and durable design. So the Bose QC Ultra headphones are a very impressive of premium ANC Headphones that block out a ton of noise, they’re comfortable to wear for hours on end and they have a decently small case which is great for traveling. However they do have their issues and short comings. Nonetheless, today we’re going to compare the Bose QC Ultra to the Sony 1000XM5’s and the Sony 1000XM4’s. Is bose back on top and is Bose worth the premium? I don’t think so.
