Special Launch Price of $149.99 Until March 31st!

So these are the soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro, and these are The World's First Dual-Form Earbuds which you can wear like a normal pair of earbuds and they have active noise cancellation, which is great for when you’re at work, commuting or at the gym, but you can also wear them like a pair of Open Ear earbuds so you’re going to be fully aware of your surroundings which is great if you’re on a hike, running out doors, or even if youre at work and your boss demands that your ears have to be open. These are like having 2 pairs of earbuds in your pocket at all times which is great for multiple situations at any time. Honestly, I am genuinely impressed by the form and fit of these earbuds and I think these are going to be a solid pick up for anyone that’s looking for a very secure fit, and they don’t like in ear earbuds. So lets checkout the soundcore AeroFit 2 pro.

So first I do want to thank soundcore for sponsoring this video. Now the soundcore Aerofit 2 pro have a retail price of $179.99, however they are going to have an exclusive launch price of $149.99 until March 31st. So if you want to pick these earbuds up they’ll be linked down below or you can always press on the YouTube shopping button and take advantage of that launch price, and again thank you to soundcore for sponsoring this video. But regardless, I genuinely think these earbuds are very impressive and I'm really excited to be showing them to you today.

So first off, we have to talk about the general design the soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro earbuds themselves. these are a pair of standard fitting earbuds, as in they rest in the bowl of your ears, these aren’t a pair of in ear earbuds that actually go into your ear canals like lets say the soundcore liberty 5 earbuds, which are also great. Now the benefit of the Aerofit 2 Pro being a pair of standard fitting earbuds is that they are a lot more comfortable than in ear earbuds cause they don’t feel as intrusive… however, standard fitting earbuds like the Aerofit 2 Pro aren’t going to be able to passively block out noise like a pair of in ear earbuds and they might not have as much lockdown.

However, these are not a problem for the Aerofit 2 Pro cause they have active noise cancelation and they have built in ear hooks. Now the active noise cancellation on the Aerofit 2 pro is going to be very useful on your bus ride commute or if you’re in a chatty office cause they block out a good amount of noise… but don’t expect them to block out as much noise as a pair of over headphones… but regardless the ANC on these earbuds is very good especially  since they don’t passively block out as much noise as a pair of in earbuds, but they are a lot more comfortable than in ear earbuds. And then there are the ear hooks on these earbuds, these are not going anywhere no matter how much you try, making them a great option of working out, plus they also have an IP55 rating so sweat is not an issue for these earbuds. Also these ear hooks are very flexible and they are covered in very soft silicon, making them very comfortable as well,

But now lets talk about the adjustable ear hook design. Now level 5 and 4, these are the levels that you want to use if you want to use the Aerofit 2 pro like a pair of normal earbuds. And you can switch between level 5 and 4 to get your best fit. But you can also swing these up to level 1 and 2, and this is where you can start using the Aerofit 2 Pro like a pair of open earbuds. And while in open earbud mode, your ear canals are going to be unobstructed so you’re going to be able to hear all of your surroundings which is good for safety if you’re walking out doors or exercising, or if you’re working a retail job or if you’re a driver. However you’re still going to be able to hear your audio because sound is still being aimed are your ear canals. And thanks to the ear hooks, the Aerofit 2 pro aren’t going anywhere. And then, there’s Level 3 which is a neutral position that maintains the current form used (Open-Ear or ANC) to avoid abrupt, accidental switching. Just keep in mind that in order for the active noise cancelation on these earbuds to work, both earbuds need to be in, which is fine, that’s the case for most ANC earbuds anyways.

Now when it comes to actually listening to music with these earbuds, for starters the Aerofit 2 pro can detect which mode they are in, either in earbud mode or in open ear bud mode, so they will automatically switch between their EQ Modes. Now in general, the Aerofit 2 Pro have 11.8 millimeter drivers, so these earbuds do have a lot of kick in their bass but they still have good definition in the mids and highs. Now I like how these earbuds sound with their stock EQ, but you can go into their app and adjust their EQ to your liking. And for the best sound quality, you want to use the Aerofit 2 pro while in their closed earbud mode. But then when you switch over to their Open earbud mode… personally I recommend that you raise the mids and raise the highs a little bit on these earbuds, so that you can more easily hear dialog on these earbuds while they are in their open mode. But like I said, the really cool thing about the Aerofit 2 pro is that they will automatically switch between their two EQ modes depending on the mode that they are in.

And when it comes to controlling your media, the Aerofit 2 Pro are using physical buttons, which I honestly prefer cause they’re easier to use than touchpads and I really like having physical buttons especially for the gym.  And through soundcore’s app you can customize the layout of these touchpads. So I have mine so that you can tap to play and pause your music, you can double tap to skip a track, triple tap to go back and you can press and hold to raise or lower the volume. And I use the other earbud button but my ANC settings. So this set up is going to give you full control over your media directly from the earbuds themselves, you’re not going to have to open the app all that often.

And when it comes to the bluetooth connectivity of these earbuds, each earbud establishes a connection with your phone so if you want to use one earbuds at time you can use either one it doesn’t matter. And this is the type of Bluetooth set up that we expect. But also these earbuds can be connected to any two Bluetooth devices at the same time, making them a great option for any power user cause you can hot swap from lets say an iPhone and a pc. Latency is not an issue for these earbuds so you can use them to watch videos with on your phone… and when it comes to audio codecs, the soundcore Aerofit 2 pro have support for SBC and AAC, but they also have support for LDAC which is Sony’s own high res audio codec which transmits 3 times as much data so your going to get better resolution in your audio. However in order to use LDAC you do have to be an android user cause iPhones top out at AAC… but regardless, the Aerofit 2 pro sound great with AAC. Now the Aerofit 2 pro’s also do head tracking… but I don’t really care for that. But its there if you want it.

Now when it comes to battery life, the soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro have an advertised combined battery life of 34 hours with their active noise cancelation turned off… the earbuds themselves can go for 7 hours straight, plus the case can supply almost 4 complete charges. And with their active noise cancelation turned on, these have an advertised combined battery life of 24 hours, the earbuds can go for 5 straight hours and the almost 4 complete charges from the case. And these earbuds also have fast charging where if you drop these earbuds into their case with a low battery, a ten minute charge is going to get you 3 and a half hours of playback time.

Now even though I really like the design, and the fit of the soundcore Aerofit 2 pro’s and I honestly think that these are going to make a lot of people happy… the one thing that I don’t like about these earbuds is their case. This case is pretty big and it is pretty noticeable when its in your pocket. Now this case does have to be this big so that it can accommodate the Aerofit 2 pro’s ear hooks, and you can easily throw these earbuds in their case regardless of what mode you’re using… but this case is still pretty big. But when it comes to charging this case, its pretty standard for what you’d expect from a pair of premium earbuds from soundcore, it charges via a USB C port, and it also has wireless charging.

Mic quiet

But finally here’s the microphone test, and overall the microphone on the soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro is pretty good, which is to be expected. Now the Aerofit 2 pro have a total of 4 microphones for phone calls and while in a quiet room I sound decent.

Mic Road Noise

However, the microphone on the soundcore Aerofit 2 pro does a pretty good job of dealing with noise pollution, cause right now this microphone is doing a good job of reducing this road noise, cause for comparison sake, if we were to switch over to my lapel microphone, you’re going to clearly hear all of this road noise, but if we were to switch back over to the soundcore aerofit 2 pro, it is reduced and there’s only some distortion on my voice.

Mic Chatter

And its the same thing when it comes to blocking out chatter, yes there is some distortion on my voice, but you can still understand me, and again if we were to switch over to my lapel microphone, you’re going to clearly hear all of this chatter, but if we were to switch over to the soundcore aerofit 2 pro, it is reduced. So overall I feel that the soundcore aerofit 2 pro have a decent sounding microphone on them to take phone calls with. Yes there might be some distortion on your voice when they are blocking out noise pollution, but its still easy enough to understand you.

But with all of that being said, I think the soundcore Aerofit 2 pro are a pair of very impressive earbuds. Thanks to their dual fit design, if you want to can use them in their closed earbud mode and just focus on what you’re listening to. And since these are not in ear earbuds, they are super comfortable and you can wear them for multiple hours on end without any issue. But since they also have ear hooks, they are great options for working out cause they are very secure. But also you can use them in their open earbud mode, so you can be fully aware of your surroundings which is super useful for safety if you’re exercising outdoors, if you work retail or if you’re just out on a walk. The soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro is like having 2 pairs of earbuds in your pocket, so they are going to be ready for whatever situation life throws at you.

These earbuds also sound good and they have a great combined battery life. The only thing is, they do have a large case, but its manageable.
