I have been very pleasantly surprised by the Soundcore Boom 2 cause it gives you a lot of sound in a relatively compact package and its very affordable too… making this a great speaker for summer 2024. Now the Soundcore Boom 2 sounds very impressive all on its own… but if you get two and pair them up, they sound even more impressive… so impressive that they actually give big speakers like the JBL Boombox 3 and Sony XG500 a real run for their money.
So last year when the Soundcore Motion X600 came out, I was very impressed by just how open this speaker sounded thanks to its upwards firing driver. And in general, the Motion X600 is a great speaker for at home use. But if you’re looking for something to take on the go with you this summer 2024, then maybe you’ll be interested in the new Soundcore Boom 2. So if you’re trying to choose between these two speakers, lets see which one is right for you.

So over the last few months Soundcore have been releasing their new Motion family of speakers. And for the most part, I like these speakers, they sound good and they look very elegant. But personally I would hate to take either the Motion X600 or Motion X500 on the go with me cause I would hate to get their metal bodies scratched. But now, Soundcore have released their new Boom 2 which gives you a lot of sound at a much more affordable price, I feel that its easier to travel with this speaker, plus theres a decent light feature as well. So lets see what the Soundcore Boom 2 is all about and lets see if this is the must have speaker for summer 2024.
So this is the AnkerWork S600 Speakerphone with VoicePrint Recognition. Now this is a dedicated, battery powered speakerphone that you can use to take phone calls or video calls with your phone… but it also has a built in wireless charger with QI2 so you can charge your iPhone up while you’re having your meeting. Now the AnkerWork S600 is great for your work meetings, but ive also found that its great for when youre not working.
So this is the Soundcore Motion 100, and this is currently Soundcore’s smallest and most affordable bluetooth speaker. Now this is a good option if you want something very small to take on the go with you or if you want a little bit of music while in your bedroom. But today we’re going to see what you get with Soundcore’s smallest bluetooth speaker.
So soudcore has been building out their motion line of speakers very fast. And today we’re going to compare Soundcore’s two smallest speakers, the Motion 300 and the Motion 100. Obviously since the Motion 300 is larger and is a 30 watt speaker, its going to get louder and its going to have more bass than the 100… but in this video we’er going to see by how much.
So the new Sony XV500 is a refined version of the Sony XP500 that has a more balanced sound and it also looks sleeker. And if you’re looking for a portable box speaker, then the XV500 is a good option. However, we also have the Sony XG500 which is more portable and more durable, but when it some to sound, these speakers are very different.
