So today we’re going to be comparing the new Sony WH-CH710N to the Sony WH-XB700’s… now normally I wouldn’t compare these two headphones cause the 710N’s are over ear headphones and the XB700’s are on ear headphones so I would just say go with the over ear headphones. But since Sony really likes to put both of these headphones on sale for ridiculous prices on major shopping holidays I thought that we should still compare them.
So a few months ago, Sennheiser released their updated HD 450BT ANC headphones… And now we’ve got the updated Sony WH-CH710N ANC headphones. And if you’re looking for a pair of $200 ANC headphones these two are perhaps the most popular options. So if you’re looking into getting a pair of entry level ANC headphones… lets see which ones right for you, cause these headphones are very different from one another.
So Sony just released their new WH-CH710N ANC headphones… and these are Sony’s new entry level ANC Headphones cause they’re replacing the 700N’s. But naturally a lot of people want to know how these new headphones stack up against Sony’s Mid Tier ANC headphones the WH-XB900N and Sony’s premium ANC headphones the WH-1000XM3’s.
The Sony WH-CH700N have been a very popular pair of entry level ANC headphones for awhile now cause they’re decent and their minor short comings are easy enough to look past… but more importantly they’re super popular cause they routinely go on sale for ridiculous prices. But now we have their successors the Sony WH-CH710N… now I want to stress that yeah these headphones are decent and they do have some important upgrades over the 700N’s, but they aren’t the slam dunk that I was hoping for and in some cases they actually fall short from their predecessors. I just think that some very questionable decisions were made regarding this upgrade.
So bose has been routinely releasing varied color ways of their latest Bose NC 700 headphones. But this latest pair of limited edition headphones are particularly special cause they come with a new charging case. But presumably cause of the new case, these headphones retail for $450… $50 more than what your average pair of Bose NC 700’s regularly retail for.
So these are the new Marshall Monitor 2 ANC headphones… and over all I think they’re a good pair of headphones, but what I specifically find interesting about these headphones is that they manage to strike a good balance between the old and the new. These headphones have a very classic design to them and they’re very tactile which I love… but they also have all of the modern conveniences that you would expect from a pair of modern ANC headphones.
So Sennheiser just updated their HD 4.50BTNC’s with their new HD 450BT’s which do have some key upgrades over their predecessors. Now naturally people are asking how do the HD 450BT’s compare to the Sony WH-CH700N. Now Sony is going to be releasing their new WH-CH710N in a couple of months with what seems like a major redesign which personally has me very excited. Now I’m predicting that the WH-CH710N will release in April… But in the mean time lets see how these two headphones stack up against one another.
