I have been very pleasantly surprised by the Soundcore Boom 2 cause it gives you a lot of sound in a relatively compact package and its very affordable too… making this a great speaker for summer 2024. Now the Soundcore Boom 2 sounds very impressive all on its own… but if you get two and pair them up, they sound even more impressive… so impressive that they actually give big speakers like the JBL Boombox 3 and Sony XG500 a real run for their money.
So last year when the Soundcore Motion X600 came out, I was very impressed by just how open this speaker sounded thanks to its upwards firing driver. And in general, the Motion X600 is a great speaker for at home use. But personally I would hate to take either the Motion X600 or Motion X500 on the go with me cause I would hate to get their metal bodies scratched. But now, Soundcore have released their new Boom 2 which gives you a lot of sound at a much more affordable price, I feel that its easier to travel with this speaker, plus theres a decent light feature as well.
