So for awhile now the JBL Boombox has been a fan favorite for a lot of people looking for a large portable bluetooth speaker. But now, ultimate ears has put out a very formidable contender… their new UE Hyperboom. Now just keep in mind that the new JBL Boombox 2 is set to be released in the next few months… but for now lets see how the new Hyperboom stacks up the original JBL Boombox.
This is the all new UE HYPERBOOM. Its the biggest and baddest bluetooth speaker ultimate ears has ever made and I absolutely love it. This thing sounds amazing and its also very versatile. So if you’re looking for a speaker to use at home, but also just as easily take it on the go with you, then I really think the HYPERBOOM is a great option to consider.
The JBL PartyBox 300 is a beast of a speaker… its battery powered and it has a really good looking built in light feature. But when it comes to price, the Partybox 300 retails for the same price as the JBL boombox. Now obviously you’ll might be tempted to go with the Partybox cause its bigger and it has that light feature… but depending on your needs and what you plan on doing with your speaker you’ll might be better off with the Boombox. So lets see which ones right for you
This is the JBL Partybox 300… and in short this thing is no joke. Its a battery powered box speaker thats essentially a sup’d up JBL boombox but it also has a built in light feature. Something that JBL is actually really good at if you just look at their pulse 3 and pulse 4. And if you’re looking for a speaker to use in your garage slash man cave… I think the Partybox 300 is a pretty solid option.
This is the new Bose Portable Home Speaker, now I don’t know whats up with Bose’s latest naming schemes but what I do know is that I really like this new Bose speaker. Its essentially the successor to the Bose Soundlink revolve plus but its better in almost every way and its a whole lot smarter and useful. But whats really impressive here is just the sheer amount of sound coming out of this relatively small guy. And I do think its worth upgrading if you already have the Soundlink revolve plus.
Unfortunately, choosing between the the JBL Charge 4 and JBL Pulse 4 isn’t that simple. Even though at the end of the day they’re both just speakers… there are some major differences between them. And depending on your needs and what you plan on doing with them, one is going to be better than the other. So today we’re going to be comparing the JBL Charge 4 to the JBL Pulse 4 and see which ones right for you.
Where the majority of JBL’s newer speakers have subtle differences underneath the hood like the JBL Flip 4 to the JBL Flip 5… The JBL Pulse 4 is completely different from the JBL Pulse 3 in almost every way. The JBL Pulse 4 looks completely different and has a completely different speakers set up compared to the JBL Pulse 3. Over all yes the JBL Pulse 4 does out perform the Pulse 3, but I don’t think you have to run out and upgrade if you already have the Pulse 3.
