So these are the Sony WH-CH720N, now overall I really like them because they are super light weight and very comfortable to wear, and they do many things very well. However, the entry-level ANC headphones market is very competitive… so today we’re going to compare them to the Soundcore Space Q45’s which are an amazing value for frequent flyers cause of their ANC and battery life… but we are also going to compare them to a few other entry level options like the Sennheiser HD 450BT and Skullcandy Hesh ANC.

So these are the Sony WH-CH520’s, they came out along side the Sony WH-CH720N, and after checking out the WH-CH720N’s I decided that I needed to checkout the WH-CH520’s, just cause I saw so many improvements on the WH-CH720N’s. And to be honest, I was not disappointed, cause just like the WH-CH720N’s, the WH-CH520’s have also gotten some important improvements from its predecessors.

So these are the Sony WH-CH720N, now personally I am very excited to make this video for multiple reasons. First off, I used to love the Sony WH-CH700N’s… but when the WH-CH710N’s came around, they were an all around disappointment. They got the job done… but there were so many downgrades to them. But now, there are the WH-CH720N’s which I feel have redeemed Sony… and I will admit, when I first unboxed these headphones, I was a little disappointed and unimpressed. But now, the WH-CH720N’s have managed to win me over.

So when the Bose QC45’s first came out last year, I wasn’t all that impressed by them. But now, a year later and thanks to some very important firmware upgrades and some missteps from other companies… the Bose QC45’s are my daily drivers, they’re my favorite headphones to travel with, and right now, they are my favorite headphones to recommend. Now they do have their short comings and they do have room for improvement, but I really feel that they give more premium ANC headphones like the Sony 1000XM5’s, Sennheiser Momentum 4’s or AirPods Max a real run for their money.

For the last few years, the Sennehsier Momentum 3’s have been my favorite sounding ANC headphones. And now we have their predecessors, the Momentum 4’s which have some major upgrades. Now, even though I am not the biggest fan of the AirPods Max, I do have to admit, they sound really good. But then, there are the PX7 S2’s, and these things also sound really good. At first glance, the Sennheiser Momentum 4’s are easily superior to both the Bose QC45’s and Bose NC 700’s. They have almost 3 times the battery life, they have better preforming ANC, and they sound much better than either of Bose’s headphones. However, the Momentum 4’s do have some glaring quirks that are just too hard to ignore. On paper, the Sennheiser Momentum 4’s are amazing. Their battery life simply crushes both of Sony’s headphones. Their ANC rivals that of the Sony 1000XM5’s, and the Momentum 4’s simply sound better than both of Sony’s headphones. However, there are some quirks about the Momentum 4’s which are just too hard to ignore. So the Sennheiser Momentum 4’s are a solid pair of ANC headphones from Sennheiser that have some major improvements that I have been asking for since both the Momentum 3’s and PXC 550 2’s came out. They have a monstrous battery life, ANC that rivals the Sony 1000XM5’s, and a new hard shell case. On paper, these things are amazing… but if you’re a momentum 3 or PXC 550 2 counusiour, and if you upgrade to the Momentum 4’s… there will be times where you will miss your old headphones.
