It gives you more then enough power where you never ask for more… but you never get overwhelmed and feel like you made a mistake. But then theres the JBL Partybox 720 which basically says, Oh you think the 520 is crazy, check this one out… Now the 720 can be a little over whelming… but its still as versatile as the Partybox 520. So I am actually a very big fan of the JBL partybox 520, Sony ULT Tower 9 and Soundboks 4… all of these speakers are big and loud enough where you wont want something bigger, but they also aren’t super overkill like either the JBL Partybox Ultimate or Sony Tower 10 where you might regret your purchase. So I think both the JBL Partybox 520 and Sony ULT Tower 9 are the perfect sized speakers, they’re big and loud enough to the point where you never ask yourself what if you got something bigger or what if you got a second speaker, but they also aren’t overkill to the point where you start to regret your purchase.
