I recently purchased the Therabody Theragun Relief, the entry-level personal massager. I was impressed with the design and build quality of the device, which is mostly made of plastic, unlike other Theragun models which have soft-touch or silicone surfaces. The three speed settings and the battery life, which is advertised as 120 minutes but can be shorter depending on the speed used, are also good features. I also like that the Theragun Relief charges via USB-C, which is a convenient feature.
The motor of the Theragun Relief is very powerful and has a decent amount of stroke. This means that it can apply a lot of force without stalling, even when applying pressure. I also found that the new motor is significantly quieter than previous Theragun models.
The three different ball heads that come with the Theragun Relief are the standard ball head, the thumb attachment, and the dampener. Each ball head works differently and has a different surface area and foam stiffness. I also found that the Theragun Relief does not come with a carrying case, which is a feature that is included with other Theragun models.
Overall, I am very happy with my Therabody Theragun Relief. It is a great value for the price and a great way to relieve muscle pain and soreness.
