Personally, I think the Sony XB900N’s are currently the best Mid Range ANC headphones out there right now. They offer a very complete package without any major compromises. But technically the XB900N’s are a part of Sony’s Extra Bass Headphones line up meant for bass heads who really like bass, hence the XB in their name. So if you’re a bass head you’re probably wondering if you should get these or the Skullcandy Crusher 360’s. So lets see which ones right for you.
There’s a lot of hype and excitement around the new Bose NC 700’s but the Bose QC35 series 2 aren’t going anywhere. Actually the Bose QC35’s got a secret hardware refresh last fall so that they can support Bose AR just like the NC 700’s. Now personally I think Bose AR is still very much in its infancy as of summer 2019 and it's one of those features you play around with for 20 minutes and then forget about. But if you’re thinking about picking up a pair of Bose Headphones you maybe very well trying to decided picking between the alien looking NC 700’s or the tried and tested QC35’s. So here are the main differences between these two headphones.
Personally I think sony is killing it right now when it comes to their ANC headphones. Its been almost a year and the 1000XM3’s are still my favorite and most recommended pair of Premium ANC Headphones. And it looks like Sony is on track to dominate the mid range ANC headphones space with their New XB900N’s. Over the last few months, the Sony 1000XM3 have been the go to ANC headphones for most people. Now the Bose QC35’s are still a decent pair of headphones because of their superior build quality and comfort over the 1000XM3’s… But over all the 1000XM3’s still came out on top because of their added features and better performance. The New Sony XB900N’s are an exciting pair of headphones cause they’re Sony’s newest mid range ANC headphones that have essentially combined the XB950N1’s and the H.ear On 2’s into one. Obviously Sony is holding these headphones back a little bit so that they don’t eat into their 1000XM3’s or 1000XM4’s sales but given their price point and performance I really like these headphones.
The new Bose noise canceling headphones 700’s aka the NC 700’s are finally here. Now even though there is a lot of hype around these headphones they aren’t replacing the Bose QC35’s… they’re more of a higher tier variant. Now over all these are a decent pair of ANC headphones, but there are somethings I would have done differently.
Since summer’s here, a lot of people might be looking into getting a speaker.
